Everyone holds multiple and complex identities and histories of resilience. We co-build an understanding of who you are and where you’d like to be within many systems of norms, expectations, and systemic injustices. Through this process, we tap into your inner power to heal yourself.
Our bodies can hold our histories and emotions, as well as our solutions. I root my practice in the neurophysiology of stress and trauma, and partner with you to cultivate cognitive and body-based tools to cope and find new responses to present challenges.
My work’s privilege is to be entrusted with your story, and its greatest joy is to find authentic mutual connection where each person leaves their mark. With warmth and acceptance, I work to unlock your connection to and trust in your strengths, wisdom, and creativity. We’ll talk about what supports you to authentically and comfortably express yourself, including feedback about me and your therapy process.
In addition to my training in third-wave CBT approaches, I am also certified in the Trauma-Conscious Yoga Method and Trauma-Focused CBT.
